Degenerating Families of Schottky groups

In this course, we are going to discuss some interesting properties of Schottky groups. First we will introduce the notion of a Schottky group, then we are going to learn about certain recent results concerning them, such as the properties of the limit set of a Schottky group. The course is based on the articles of Dujardin-Faver as well as of Dang-Mehmeti.
